Hunter with Great Grandma Leavitt at Grandma's
90th Birthday party. (2 years ago)

For Hunter's and MaKayla's Birthday a couple of weeks ago we went
to St. George and went Lazer taging and mini golf. We
had so much fun. All his family and Sam was there and some of
Dori's kids Ashley and Alexandrea and their friend Allison.

It was so late when we finished playing that we were

surprised Pizza Hut was still open. We got a dinning room

all to ourselves.

  1. To my friend Kim,
We have tried to give you space because we know you don't need another phone call, but I don't want you to think for one moment that my family and I aren't thinking about Hunter and the rest of your family. Hunter's name is in every prayer we say throughout the day and the girls often say, "I'm worried about Hunter."

Ever since we moved to this city your family has been more than kind to us. In fact we feel closer to you than the rest of our family who lives here. (don't tell them though:))

Your strength and thoughts amaze and uplift me and I wish I could do something to help comfort you. I can't imagine what it would be like to see my baby in a hospital bed and be unable to hold or talk to them.

You have a strong family and it has been wonderful to hear from Jessica and Alex. Their words and thoughts are very honest and touching.

I want you to know that all of you are on the fore front of our thoughts even though we have been giving you your space.

P.S. your talks were given by Kai, Steve Faldmo and Brother White:)

    To Hunter, Bubba's favorite friend:
I've heard it said that the strongest trees in the forest can weather the strongest storms. We love you and we know the Lord will put nothing before us that is beyond our capability to conquer. Someday you might find it interesting to know that even people in Kona, Hawaii are praying for you. I called the temple the night of your injury and submitted your name for the prayer role because the other temples were closed. Kai's mom also put it in the Las Vegas temple on Saturday.

To the rest of the Thurston family, we love you all and pray for your strength and comfort as well. Though hunter is the one injured we know that he is not the only who suffers. We are ready to help with what ever you need whenever you need it.

Love and Alohas to you all,
    Amy Davis
